Job Description JOB DETAILS Base pay starts at $23.50 - $27.75 per hour plus $1.50 shift differential Quarterly Bonus Program Night Shift (4:00 PM - 12:30 AM) DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Knows and understands all safety rules and precautions necessary for working with and around hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic and electrical apparatusAbility to work on highly technical or involved projects, presenting new or constantly changing problemsAbility to deal with complex factors not easily evaluated and to make decision based on conclusions and findingsTroubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment. Safely handle and work with various voltages and power sources. Familiarity with metal fabrication and light machine work. Use various types of welding equipment, Mig, Arc, and flame cutting equipment. Uses electricians hand tools and measuring and testing equipmentPerforms visual and mechanical inspections required to keep machinery in good operating conditionFollows preventive maintenance program as established by the company and performs inspections of equipment and takes preventive action when necessaryGives on the job direction to new maintenance mechanics and/or others assisting in maintenance workMaintains continuous improvement efforts in work area Qualifications A self starter with demonstrated commitment to electrical safety, strong troubleshooting skills, and decision making skillsMechanical Systems ExperienceMedium Voltage troubleshooting and repair (480 VAC) (24VDC)Understanding of basic electricalHydraulics ExperiencePneumatics ExperienceMechanical aptitude, familiarity with hand tools and power toolsProficient in reading and writingBasic knowledge of bearings and drive systemsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist Additional Information Site Address: 1155 West 2300 North, SLC, UT 84025 This is a position with the potential overtime.
