Industrial Maintenance Technician – Mechanical/Millwright
About the role
Performs highly skilled mechanical maintenance tasks including installation. Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment. This may include, but not limited to, such equipment as motors, pneumatic, hydraulic and conveyor systems. In downtime situations, must be able to analyze cause of breakdown with equipment. Must also determine and carry out maintenance of repair actions required to return the equipment to effective operating conditions. Must lubricate and clean parts, perform maintenance planning, layout work and welding as required. Follow and adhere to safety lockout procedures and strictly adhere to plant safety rules as well as follow excellent housekeeping practices to help maintain a clean work environment.
Responsibilities
- Performs highly skilled mechanical maintenance tasks including installation.
- Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Analyzes cause of breakdown with equipment.
- Determines and carries out maintenance of repair actions required to return equipment to effective operating conditions.
- Lubricates and cleans parts.
- Performs maintenance planning and layout work.
- Welds as required.
- Follows and adheres to safety lockout procedures.
- Strictly adheres to plant safety rules.
- Maintains a clean work environment through excellent housekeeping practices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Five (5) years of maintenance work experience and/or educational history.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools and precision measuring and test instruments.
- Experienced in pneumatic, hydraulic, and conveyor systems.
- Excellent skills in root cause analysis.
- Skilled in all aspects of mechanical maintenance.
- Steady, documented work history.
Qualifications
- Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Good communication skills.
- Team-oriented.
- Able to work independently and in a group.
- Willingness to work any shift, including weekends and holidays.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $XX/X based on experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be determined by the hiring manager and discussed during the interview process.
Schedule
This position is full-time and works evenings (2nd shift).
