Duties and Responsibilities
- Possess the skill and ability to perform all basic mechanical and electrical duties required.
- Cover all emergency breakdowns and repairs in a timely manner.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks in accordance with the Preventative Maintenance Program
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electromechanical systems, including motors, sensors, and control systems
- Conduct routine inspections and testing of equipment to identify potential issues and perform necessary repairs
- Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately in compliance with company protocols
- Maintain a safe and organized workspace, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies
- Able to complete routine assignments without direct supervision
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required/Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical principles and systems
- Hands-on experience with basic tools and diagnostic equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- Experience with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and basic programming knowledge
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic tools
- Understanding of motor control systems and circuit design
- Basic knowledge of automation technologies
Soft Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear.
- The employee is occasionally required to sit.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40-50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock.
- The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, extreme heat, and vibration.
- The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
