About the Role

Industrial Maintenance Technicians ensure optimal efficiency by performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance while prioritizing safety and quality. The role requires a technical mindset, strong mechanical capabilities, and flexibility to rotate across various bakery areas. Technicians must pursue ongoing training due to evolving technology and performance standards.

Physical requirements include the ability to climb fixed and portable ladders up to 20 feet, stoop and bend while lifting up to 50 pounds, and climb onto or crawl under machinery as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate safe work habits, proper tool selection and usage, general shop practices, and maintenance tasks.
  • Apply knowledge of support equipment, critical and non-critical components, and equipment operational sequencing.
  • Perform electrical welding, gas welding, cutting, soldering, pipe fittings, and metal fabrication (milling and lathe).
  • Identify and inspect mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
  • Rebuild mechanical drive components such as clutches and brakes.
  • Verify and correct mechanical timing.
  • Perform proper component lubrication and preventive maintenance on specific equipment.
  • Identify mechanical wear and troubleshoot/replace mechanical drive and conveyor components.
  • Identify, wire, and troubleshoot electrical components.
  • Use SAP software for parts checkout, reporting, and general data entry.
  • Apply knowledge of environmental and maintenance programs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures (e.g., safety, Sarbanes-Oxley).
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including adherence to work schedules and attendance policies.
  • Obtain licenses required by municipal, county, or state regulatory agencies for boilers, refrigeration components, and other job-related equipment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Technical/Trade School certification or diploma is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience as a technician in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, welding, electrical, industrial equipment, automotive repairs, or a related field.

Pay

$24.86/HR - $28.28/HR
