Industrial Maintenance Technician
About the role
The Pharmacy Engineering Technician 3 oversees logistics, fabrication, installation, operation, application, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electromechanical machines, equipment, tools, motors and systems. They perform advanced administrative/operational/customer support duties that require independent initiative and judgment. May apply intermediate mathematical skills.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates mechanical products to determine cost effectiveness and efficiency
- Oversees and implements prescription drug distribution equipment
- Recommends design modifications to eliminate malfunctions, reduce cost-to-fill, increase throughput and improve quality
- Performs and leads tests of related software and equipment to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects
- Devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations
Requirements
Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in prioritizing requests and interpreting and adapting procedures, processes and techniques. Works under limited guidance due to previous experience/breadth and depth of knowledge of administrative processes and organizational knowledge.

$64,300 - $87,700 per year
