Industrial Maintenance Technician – 3rd Shift

About the role

eCMMS, a division of Foxconn, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their team at the Sandston, VA facility. The ideal candidate will work in a state-of-the-art, clean, climate-controlled environment with access to advanced machinery including automated robotics, Autonomous Intelligent Vehicles (AIV), and large-scale 3D printers.

Responsibilities

• Responds with urgency to all calls for assistance from the production lines
• Proactively monitors assigned lines to ensure optimal equipment performance
• Solves equipment issues promptly and meticulously
• Conducts line safety audits to identify and rectify deficiencies
• Documents 85% of workday activities in work orders
• Works independently with minimal supervision
• Participates in rebuilds and overhauls
• Replaces defective parts and components as needed
• Provides guidance and educates other technicians
• Collaborates with other departments to identify and address improvement opportunities
• Communicates effectively and escalates issues as necessary
• Demonstrates ownership and accountability in all aspects of the role

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED, plus a two-year technical degree, or equivalent work experience
• One to two years of experience in equipment maintenance
• Demonstrated ability to resolve basic issues in limited production technologies
• A critical thinker capable of performing reactive, planned, and scheduled maintenance tasks
• Background in industrial mechanical and/or electrical manufacturing operations and maintenance
• Experience with installation, start-up, and maintenance of complex processing and packaging lines and controls
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems, parts management, and preventive maintenance programs
