The Industrial Maintenance Technician position involves repairing, adjusting, and replacing machinery and equipment in a manufacturing setting. This includes blow mold, trimmer, palletizer, and other related equipment. Responsibilities also include maintaining compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Install, adjust, and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizers, and other related equipment.
• Inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses.
• Inspect, rebuild, and replace valves and pumps.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all related equipment.
• Maintain machines in optimal processing condition.
• Weld, fabricate, and repair various machines.
• Troubleshoot, locate root problems, and repair blow mold, baggers, and support equipment.
• Operate blow mold or injection machines when necessary.
• Communicate with other departments on a frequent basis.
• May assist with unusual problems and review work for sound professional judgment.
• Occasionally receive reasonable mandatory overtime due to business needs.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical and computer skills.
• Basic knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
• OSHA Forklift certification preferred.

Physical Demands

• Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
• Reach with hands and arms.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Occasionally climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Work Environment

• Exposure to moving mechanical parts in a production environment.
• Near constant noise level in the work environment.
• Temperatures inside the plant can fluctuate between hot and cold.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) required in designated areas.

Pay

Targeted Pay Range: $29.52 - $37.69
