Responsibilities

• Keeps equipment running safely.
• Troubleshoots issues fast.
• Partners with Production to hit daily targets.
• Maintains and repairs various types of production machines.
• Operates and sets up all types of equipment and machine tools.
• Lubricates and cleans parts.
• Reads, interprets blueprints, and follows manuals and industrial standards.
• Works with minimal supervision.
• Passes pre-employment physical, drug test, and background check.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude.
• Good mathematical skills.
• Deep understanding of high speed presses and safety protocols.
• Experience with high pressure hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated material handling.
• Significant experience in operating production machines.
• Practical hands-on experience in an industrial setting.
• Currently holds a journeyman machine repair card or the equivalent of 3-5 years direct machine maintenance experience.
• Manufacturing and technology classes preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Able to read, interpret blueprints on manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Physical requirements: Regularly stands, walks, uses hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reaches with hands and arms; frequently climbs or balances; talks or hears; occasionally stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls; lifts and/or moves up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds; must regularly adjust focus.
