Industrial Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

About the role

The Industrial Maintenance Technician position involves repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting production machinery, blow mold equipment, and facility infrastructure. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and communicating with other departments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and applicable laws and regulations.
• Install, adjust, and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizers, and other related equipment.
• Inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses.
• Inspect, rebuild, and replace valves and pumps.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all related equipment.
• Maintain machines in optimal processing condition.
• Weld, fabricate, and repair various machines.
• Troubleshoot, locate root problems, and repair blow mold, baggers, and support equipment.
• Operate blow mold or injection machines as needed.
• Communicate with other departments on a frequent basis.
• May assist in resolving unusual problems and reviewing work for sound professional judgment.
• Occasionally required to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and noise in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical and computer skills.
• Basic knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• OSHA Forklift certification preferred.

Physical Demands

• Regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
• Reach with hands and arms.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and noise in a production environment.
• Exposure to temperatures that can fluctuate between hot and cold.

Pay and Schedule

Targeted Pay Range: $29.52 - $37.69
