Industrial Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift - $32.40 per hour

Roles and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe work habits, proper tool selection and usage, general shop practices, maintenance tasks, and general knowledge of support equipment
• Perform proper component lubrication and conduct preventive maintenance on specific equipment
• Identify mechanical wear and identify, troubleshoot, and replace mechanical drive and conveyor components
• Use SAP software for parts checkout, reporting, and general data entry
• PRACTICE LEARNED KNOWLEDGE OF ENVIRONMENTAL AND MAINTENANCE PROGRAMS
• Maintain clean and safe work environment
• PRACTICE AND COMPLY WITH ALL COMPANY POLICIES AND PROCEDURES (EEO, HARASSMENT, SAFETY, SARANSEUX OXLEY, ETC.)
• PERFORM OTHER DUTIES WHICH ARE DEEMED BY MANAGEMENT TO BE AN INTEGRAL PART OF THE JOB, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO FULFILLMENT OF WORK SCHEDULES, ADHERENCE TO ATTENDANCE POLICIES, AND OTHER APPLICABLE OPERATING RULES, POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
• Possess or attain licenses required by their respective municipal, county/ward or state regulatory agencies to work with boilers, refrigeration components and various other job-related equipment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical/Trade School certification or diploma a plus
• 1+ years of experience as a technician
• Experience in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, welding, electrical, industrial equipment, automotive repairs, or related field
