About the role

Industrial Maintenance Technicians ensure optimal efficiency by performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, prioritizing safety and quality. This role requires a technical mindset, strong mechanical capabilities, and flexibility to rotate job assignments throughout the bakery. Technicians must pursue ongoing training to keep pace with technological improvements and performance standards.

Physical requirements include the ability to climb fixed and portable ladders up to twenty feet, stoop and bend while lifting up to fifty pounds, and climb onto and crawl under machinery.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate safe work habits, proper tool selection and usage, general shop practices, maintenance tasks, and general knowledge of support equipment
  • Perform proper component lubrication and conduct preventive maintenance on specific equipment
  • Identify mechanical wear and troubleshoot, replace mechanical drive and conveyor components
  • Use SAP software for parts checkout, reporting, and general data entry
  • Apply knowledge of environmental and maintenance programs
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures (e.g., safety, Sarbanes Oxley)
  • Fulfill work schedules, adhere to attendance policies, and follow applicable operating rules
  • Obtain licenses required by regulatory agencies for boilers, refrigeration components, and other job-related equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Technical/Trade School certification or diploma a plus
  • 1+ years of experience as a technician in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, welding, electrical, industrial equipment, automotive repairs, or related field
