What You'll Do
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you'll support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment with a focus on reliability and minimizing downtime.
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial production machinery and equipment
- Diagnose electrical systems up to 480V, AC/DC motor controls, motors, wiring, and circuitry
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Perform preventive maintenance, major services, repairs, and equipment overhauls
- Install and align motors, conveyors, and mechanical drive systems
- Use multimeters, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, diagrams, and OEM manuals
- Repair or replace wiring, conduit, receptacles, switches, fixtures, and other electrical components
- Adjust equipment to bring machinery back within operating specifications
- Identify recurring equipment problems and recommend improvements to increase reliability
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment history using the CMMS
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Hands-on experience with 480V industrial electrical systems
- Working knowledge of AC/DC motors, motor controls, and electrical circuitry
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read and troubleshoot from electrical schematics and technical diagrams
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2-year technical degree, apprenticeship, or related industrial training preferred
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CMMS systems
- Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens PLC and drive experience is highly desirable for advanced technician opportunities
Pay & Schedule
- $28.57–$38.39/hour, depending on experience and technical skill level
- $1/hour shift differential
- Pay progression opportunities
- Built-in overtime with additional OT available
- 12-hour night shift: 4:45 PM–5:00 AM
- 2-2-3 rotating schedule
- Work only 7 days during each 14-day period
- Every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off
- Opportunities to move to day shift through a seniority-based bid system
