About the role
This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of Winland Foods' operations. The Maintenance Team Member is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on various systems, from basic to complex.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Aid in machine setup, equipment modifications, and rebuilds to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate documentation and update records in CMMS systems.
- Follow all safety protocols and uphold GMPs and food safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members and leadership to resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1 year of work experience, preferably in manufacturing or food production.
- Forklift certification preferred (required for Advanced Level).
- Must be 18 years of age or older.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Commitment to safety and compliance with GMPs and OSHA standards.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Problem-solving ability and attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and learn new technologies.
Skills
- Proficient in advanced fabrication, sanitary welding, millwright activities, and predictive maintenance techniques.
- Knowledge of GMPs, SQF, HACCP, FSMA, and other food safety regulations.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instruction as well as perform accurate math functions.
- Understanding of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Good Manufacturing Principles (GMPs).

Pay
$34.00 per hour, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus offered after completion of 90-days.
Schedule
Monday-Sunday; 7:00am - 3:00pm - This position will be required to work the weekends, with two consecutive days off.
