Industrial Maintenance Tech

About the role

We are a 30-year-old U.S.-based manufacturer seeking a hands-on Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a permanent position on the 2nd shift or weekends in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial equipment, with an emphasis on safety and operational reliability.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep machines, building systems, and facilities in optimal condition.
• Inspect drives, motors, belts, fluid levels, and filters; follow checklists for maintenance actions.
• Use hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, and electrical/electronic testing devices.
• Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical/electronic components, piping, plumbing, machinery, and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical problems using blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery to identify malfunctions.
• Repair or replace defective parts using hand and power tools; reassemble equipment.
• Maintain and repair specialized equipment across manufacturing, cafeteria, laundry, and facility systems.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Proven experience in equipment maintenance with strong mechanical and electrical skills.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair; ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with welding, plumbing, and use of hand and power tools.
• Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor systems.
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures and safety protocols.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong time management and task prioritization abilities.

Pay

$33 – $40 per hour
