Industrial Maintenance Tech

About the role
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, alteration, maintenance, development, and repair of plant machinery, equipment, facilities, and structures.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing equipment and machinery, including CNC machines.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on machines and equipment.
- Identify and repair unsafe conditions and equipment.
- Take ownership of all service cases, projects, etc., and maintain all technical documentation.
- Operate engine lathe, milling machines, drill presses, grinders; alter or construct replacement parts; recondition production tooling.
- Read and understand electrical diagrams and blueprints.
- Work with PLCs, electronic and mechanical systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Identify and resolve problems before they become costly and unmanageable.
- Perform welding, fabrication, and machining.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Ability to read and process shop work orders and documentation.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available for this role).
- Able to work an 8-hour shift.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Technical certification in industrial maintenance or associate degree (preferred).
- Journeyworker’s certification (preferred).
- Working knowledge of repairing CNC equipment (preferred).
- Experience and training with facility electric (480 VAC/3 phase) (preferred).
- Able to read blueprints and schematics as well as all shop measuring tools (preferred).
- Working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motor circuits, PLCs, VFDs, AC/DC drives, HVAC, pipe fitting, industrial power presses, conveyor and lifts (preferred).

Pay
Pay rate is based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. This is an hourly position eligible for a quarterly incentive program. Shift differential is $2.00 per hour for second shift and $1.00 per hour for third shift.
Schedule
This is an off-shift position supporting 2nd and/or 3rd shift operations.
