Hours 2nd Shift Maintenance Tech
Monday - Thursday 3pm - 1am & Friday 12-6pm
$4/hour Shift Differential
Major Job Function
This position has the responsibility and will be accountable for providing the necessary services to repair and maintain the facility and equipment, to enable the production of products and meet customer and internal specifications with regard to quality, timeliness and cost effectiveness. The qualified candidate must have in depth troubleshooting skills with a high degree of industrial mechanical and electrical experience.
Work Experience
Strong Industrial Electrical Experience in a manufacturing setting, specifically:
Ability to read electrical schematics,
Install control boxes, relays, switches, electrical cabinets & circuit breakers.
Ability to trouble shoot, wire and repair complex and basic electrical issues on industrial machines.
Electronic wiring up to 480V
Industrial mechanical experience including experience trouble shooting PLCs and working on industrial motor controls, 5+ years' experience required.
Experience working in the packaging industry on converting bag machines, flexographic presses or blown film extruders is a plus.
Education
HS Diploma or equivalent required
Electrical or mechanical technical training and/or certifications preferred
