Supervisory Responsibilities
- Maintain preventive and corrective maintenance activities safely, efficiently, and in compliance with established standards.
- Coordinate troubleshooting and response to equipment failures and unplanned downtime events.
- Support equipment startups, changeovers, and post-maintenance verification activities.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Planner to execute planned work and improve schedule compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and evaluate hourly maintenance and tooling personnel to build technical capability and accountability.
- Communicate clear expectations regarding priorities, work standards, and safety requirements.
- Partner with production leadership to align maintenance efforts with operational needs and constraints.
- Enforce compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental requirements, and company safety policies.
- Promote and reinforce a strong safety culture, including proper lockout/tagout and safe work practices.
- Ensure maintenance and tooling work meets quality, workmanship, and documentation standards.
- Address unsafe conditions and near misses; participate in incident investigations and corrective action development.
- Work closely with the Maintenance Planner to improve wrench time, backlog management, and equipment reliability.
- Maintain accurate records related to maintenance activities, work orders, and personnel performance.
- Provide input on equipment condition, reliability risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate on-site contractor activities and ensure compliance with plant safety and work standards.
- Participate in capital projects, equipment upgrades, and facility modifications.
- Support tooling and equipment improvement initiatives in collaboration with engineering and corporate resources.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Solid working knowledge of industrial mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Sound decision-making ability aligned with company policies and operational goals.
Education and Experience
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Technical or vocational training is preferred.
- A minimum of five (5) years of industrial maintenance experience, including demonstrated leadership or supervisory responsibility, is required.
Physical Demands
- Regular presence in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to traverse production and maintenance areas, climb ladders, and observe work conditions.

Work Environment
- Manufacturing environment with moderate to high noise levels.
- Exposure to non-climate-controlled conditions, including heat and cold.
