Title: Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Wahpeton, ND
Salary: Up to $99K DOE

What Will I Be Doing?

• Hold daily start up meeting with team
• Hold daily toolbox talks with team
• Delegate daily work assignments
• Meet with customer contacts as required daily, weekly
• Provide direction on work execution
• Ensure accountability of team members in quality, safety, and engagement
• Aid as needed in field
• Conduct quality audits of jobs in field
• Ensure all documentation is completed timely and correctly
• Establish performance goals for team members
• Recognize team accomplishments
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Policies understanding and enforcement
• Have deep knowledge of craft skills
• OSHA certification, 10-hour required, 30-hour preferred
• Conduct employee performance reviews
• Maintain documentation for any employee issues that arise
• Escalate issues to account manager as required
• Review and approve time-off requests
• Appropriately schedule employee time off to ensure proper manpower levels
• Inform employees of any denial of time off and explain reasoning to them
• Maintain direct on-going communication with other company supervisors to ensure smooth workflow processes
• Accept feedback from others, set goals to improve performance based upon this feedback
• Inspire and motivate others to perform well
• Exhibit objectivity and openness to others’ views

What Makes Me Qualified?

• Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in an industrial setting is required.
• Additional Skills: Strong facilitation and computer skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization. Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional team environments is essential.

Physical Demands

• Frequent standing for long periods of time
• Climbing flights of stairs
• Working from elevated areas
• Wearing a respirator when required by the job
• Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
• Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock and vibration
• Occasional exposure to extreme heat and extreme cold, wet and/or humid conditions, and noise level in the work environment is usually very loud

Compensation

$ 84,150.00 - $99,000.00
