About the role

Stratas Foods is a 50/50 joint venture headquartered in Cordova, TN, formed in October 2008. It provides value-added fats and oils solutions to the Food Service, Food Ingredient, and Retail sectors.

Responsibilities

• Keeping lines running for better efficiency
• Complete work orders as assigned
• Keep work areas neat and clean
• Work safely and follow all SOP’s on lock out of equipment
• Conduct PM on assigned areas
• Completion of daily and monthly PMs
• Able to assist others on job tasks
• Identify needed mechanical improvements
• Make necessary mechanical repairs when possible
• Identify and work to eliminate unsafe conditions and/or practices
• Completion and accuracy of down time sheets/GMP log
• Able to be on call on weekends when required
• Able to rewire electrical buckets and motors

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous relevant experience, preferable in a manufacturing environment
• Basic Computer Skills - data entry

Pay

Starting Rate is $28.65-$29.69 for well experienced techs. Top Rate is $31.31 after qualified. 2nd and 3rd shift receive a .60 shift premium.

Schedule

This position requires working any shift, overtime, and weekends as required.

• Physical: This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, bend, kneel, stand for extended periods, work in confined spaces, and work at heights.
