Industrial Maintenance Mechanic - Day Shift

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair minor pneumatic and hydraulic problems
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical pumps, motors, heaters, piping systems, water systems, and steam systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on general manufacturing equipment such as starters, start/stop stations, motors (up to 480V)
• Test performance of robotic assemblies
• Evaluate efficiency and reliability of industrial robotic systems, reprogramming, and calibrating to achieve maximum quantity and quality
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Must be 21 years old or older
• Flexible on duties and schedule
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to perform work at heights using fall protection gear
• Ability to bend, manipulate tools in small spaces
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move a variety of objects up to 75 pounds
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
• Ability to write basic reports and customer request documents such as work orders

Preferred Qualifications

• Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field
• 2+ years of experience working with automated conveyors and controls
• 2+ years of experience with electrical and electronic principles, and industrial electronics
• 2+ years of experience conducting preventative maintenance
• Apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the Mechanical or Electrical field
