Responsibilities

• Work any shift, including rotating, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Participate in the safety process and practice safe work habits.
• Inspect, maintain, and perform preventive maintenance on all machinery and equipment.
• Maintain equipment and systems for maximum productivity levels.
• Identify and report any equipment issues to supervisors.
• Follow the preventative maintenance schedule.
• Operate with high level professionalism and teamwork orientation.
• Make out work orders, requisitions, inspection reports, time distribution, material usage, etc., and maintain proper records.

Requirements

• Pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
• High school level of math, language, and reasoning skills.
• Experience as an industrial maintenance mechanic.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, procedure manuals, and drawings.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and manage multiple priorities.
• Legible writing ability.
• Ability to operate various types of mobile equipment and obtain a license to operate them.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, walk, climb stairs, reach, stoop, lift at least 50 pounds safely, work at heights, execute fine and gross motor hand movements, and work in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Ability to work in a dusty environment with a broad range of temperatures.

Pay and Schedule

The pay rate starts at $35.36/hour. Overtime is paid where applicable. Wages are reviewed annually.
