Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
Join us as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in our Blue Anchor, NJ plant. Collaborate with our team to keep the plant running smoothly and continuously improve our machinery and maintenance department.
About the role
We currently have openings on our day and night shift teams with a starting rate of $31.55–$35.72 per hour. New Jersey State Refrigeration/Boiler Licenses will earn additional pay as follows: Black/Blue $1.50; Black/Blue/Red $3.00; Black/Blue/Red/Gold $4.50. New hires have one year from their hire date to obtain the required license from the State of NJ Department of Labor and Workforce Development.
In this role, you will perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment, collaborate with team members to keep production lines running smoothly, and acquire proficiency in specialized equipment and automation systems. You’ll also have opportunities to pursue certifications or additional training to further enhance your skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment to keep production moving smoothly.
- Manage machine performance by conducting equipment set-up and change-overs, facilitating production, and responding quickly to equipment breakdowns.
- Understand, follow, and enforce all established safety, health, quality, and company guidelines, policies, and recognized practices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and complete repetitive tasks throughout the day.
- Experience with troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment in a manufacturing setting.
- Permanent legal authorization to work in the United States (Kellanova does not sponsor employment visas for this role).

Pay
Starting rate of $31.55–$35.72 per hour, with additional pay for New Jersey State Refrigeration/Boiler Licenses as follows: Black/Blue $1.50; Black/Blue/Red $3.00; Black/Blue/Red/Gold $4.50.
