About the role
Quad is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join our Hartford manufacturing team. The role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing complex industrial electrical and automation systems.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex industrial electrical and automation systems.
- Perform advanced PLC troubleshooting, diagnostics, and ladder logic modifications.
- Install, maintain, and repair relay-controlled and PLC-controlled equipment.
- Service and calibrate AC/DC motors, drives, transformers, and power distribution systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
- Support equipment upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow all company safety policies and electrical safe work practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A minimum of three years of industrial electrical maintenance experience is required.
- Advanced PLC troubleshooting experience, including ladder logic modifications and online diagnostics.
- Experience working with industrial motors, transformers, power distribution systems, and AC/DC drives.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and automation controls.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Experience using both standard and metric measurements.
- Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative maintenance team.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work a 12-hour compressed schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and overtime as required.
Qualifications
- Must provide personal hand tools appropriate for the position.
- Printing industry experience is a plus, but not required.
Skills
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of three years of industrial electrical maintenance experience, advanced PLC troubleshooting experience, and strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and automation controls.

Pay
$38.00–$48.00 / hour, based on relevant experience and work history.
Schedule
12-hour compressed work schedule (3/4 or 4/3 rotation), working only 182 days per year while maintaining full-time pay and benefits.
