What You'll Do
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems on high-speed manufacturing equipment
- Maintaining PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo drives, sensors, encoders, and motor controls
- Performing preventive and predictive maintenance
- Diagnosing electrical failures and restoring equipment quickly
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and ladder logic
- Supporting equipment installations, upgrades, and start-ups
- Working closely with Maintenance, Engineering, and Production teams
- Following OSHA, NEC, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety procedures
- Maintaining accurate maintenance documentation
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience
- Experience troubleshooting: PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo systems, motor controls
- Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
- High-speed manufacturing or packaging experience
- Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley PLC experience
- Knowledge of Profibus or Profinet industrial networks
- Experience with instrumentation (pressure, level, temperature)
- Journeyman or Master Electrician License
- OSHA 30 or NFPA 70E certification
Education
- Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or Industrial Electricity
- Technical diploma or certification
- Electrical apprenticeship
- Equivalent hands-on industrial experience
