About the role

The Industrial Lubrication Technician will be responsible for responding to work orders, troubleshooting, and providing preventive maintenance on buildings and facilities equipment in an industrial setting. This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, US citizenship, and the ability to drive a forklift.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections, check sprockets, chains, bearings, gearboxes, and related mechanisms
  • Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants
  • Identify and assist in troubleshooting conditions of wrong or degraded lubricants
  • Identify and assist in troubleshooting contaminated lubricant conditions
  • Identify and assist in troubleshooting abnormal machine wear conditions
  • Operate a PC with Microsoft Office Suite programs
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance as scheduled in CMMS
  • Respond and provide service and feedback to customers on all work orders while ensuring compliance with codes, regulations, and industry standards
  • Recommend measures to improve maintenance methods and equipment performance
  • Drive a forklift safely
  • Maintain a strict schedule and demonstrate flexibility in day-to-day activities

Pay

$19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule

Typical work schedule is 3rd shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM EST). Scheduled workdays and hours may vary based on critical business demand. May be required to work holidays and weekends.

Physical Requirements

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Able to climb ladders and stairs
  • Able to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, stretch, reach, walk, and use a utility knife
  • Able to differentiate colors for wire color-coding
  • Able to interact professionally with clients despite periods of stress

Special Requirements

  • Wear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, and other personal protective equipment as needed

Additional Information

Qualified applicants must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test. This position may require a valid driver's license and facility credentials/authorization, which may require US citizenship.
