About the role

Accelerate Therapy and Performance is seeking a full-time Injury Prevention Specialist to support employees at a warehouse and distribution site. The role involves preventing workplace injuries through education, early intervention, individualized care, and relationship-building.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with employees and become a trusted onsite health and wellness resource
  • Educate employees on body mechanics, movement, ergonomics, and injury-prevention strategies
  • Provide early intervention and individualized care for musculoskeletal concerns
  • Help employees remain healthy, active, and productive at work
  • Promote a culture of safety, collaboration, and proactive wellness
  • Manage daily responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced industrial environment
  • Partner with team members and client leaders to identify and address workplace health trends
  • Document services and follow established clinical protocols

Requirements

  • Certified Athletic Trainer with an active state license and bachelor’s degree
  • Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant with an associate degree
  • Hold an active CPR, AED, and First Aid certification

Qualifications

  • Experience working with orthopedic or musculoskeletal conditions
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence working independently and managing competing priorities
  • Professional, dependable, and self-motivated
  • Comfortable engaging with employees and leaders at all levels
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace
  • Previous experience in customer service, healthcare, fitness, or another relationship-focused environment
