What You'll Do
- Inspect and perform daily maintenance on all HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and chillers
- Installs HVAC and Electrical equipment
- Knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration trade practices
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair plant and equipment HVAC systems: chillers, split units, package and appliance refrigeration systems
- Diagnosing and repairing malfunctions in HVAC systems, including identifying and replacing faulty parts, and addressing refrigerant leaks
- Able and willing to work outside of regular business hours for emergency repairs
- Able to work with minimal supervision required
- Performs other duties as assigned
What You'll Need
- Knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration trade practices
- Minimum 5 years of HVAC experience, or 3 years in a heavy industrial setting
- Technical training in the HVAC field
- Understanding of Refrigeration and HVAC systems theories
- Ability to communicate effectively with appropriate departments/individuals
- Technical skills: in-depth understanding of machinery and maintenance techniques, ability to read blueprints and schematics
Your Education
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Trade School or Apprenticeship preferred
