What You’ll Do Provide scheduled and emergency/unscheduled repairs of residential, commercial, and industrial generators both during normal working hours and after-hours, weekends and holidays as directedDetect faulty operations, defective material and report them and any other unusual situations to the service manager in a timely mannerTravel around local area for service work while being on call and rotating first to call responsibilityMaintain parts and service inventory within company vehicleCreate and submit reports for service work completed and project updates What You’ll Bring 2+ years of mechanical experience with power generation, automotive, or diesel enginesKnowledge of power generation; light tower, pumps, heating products, and transfer switch operationsWorking knowledge of mechanical design, AC and DC circuitry, power generation, wiring schematics, and connection diagramsPreventative maintenance and service experience with ability to travel locallyValid driver's license Bring your generator experience— Generac, Kohler, CAT, Cummins, Katolight, Detroit, Volvo, Isuzu, John Deere, Champion, Honda, MTU, or Briggs & Stratton This job is with an independent Generac distributor and not for employment with Generac Power Systems, Inc.
