Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of mechanical experience with power generation or diesel engines
- Knowledge of power generation; light tower, pumps, heating products, and transfer switch operations
- Working knowledge of mechanical design, AC and DC circuitry, power generation, wiring schematics, and connection diagrams
- Working knowledge of engine maintenance and troubleshooting of natural gas and diesel fuel systems
- Valid driver's license
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand
- Frequently use hands to manipulate objects, tools, or controls; and talk and hear
- Frequent stooping, crouching, bending, and reaching above shoulders
- Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance, waist high, up to 10 feet away
- Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to discern color required
- Must comply with assigned location PPE requirements including but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, appropriate gloves, clothing, and shields for required tasks and closed toed or safety shoes as required by facility safety policies
