What You'll Do
- Assist Industrial Engineers in developing and deploying efficient systems to integrate production associates, machines, material requirements, and information to achieve optimal manufacturing processes
- Collaborate with Production Management and cross-functional support teams to identify manufacturing constraints and execute solutions accordingly
- Support capacity planning, labor forecasting, and work assignment planning based on production associate performance, machine capability, and production schedules
- Create multi-process workstation layouts, standardized work, staffing plans, process maps, and diagrams illustrating workflow, product routing, floor layouts, material flow, and equipment utilization using tools such as AutoCAD or Visio
- Conduct statistical production cycle time studies, analyze data, and optimize processes
- Participate in continuous improvement projects applying Lean, 5S, PDCA, JIT, Kanban, and other problem-solving methodologies
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Manufacturing Technology or equivalent experience
- 2+ years’ experience working as a Technician or Production Lead
- Understanding of Takt time, target cycle time, and factors of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
- Moderate data analysis skills – Tableau/Splunk/SQL knowledge is a plus
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (Visio is a plus)
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematic drawings and formula
- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
- Command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Conflict resolution and change management skills are a plus
Essential Physical Demands
- Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours a day
- Frequent and repetitive lifting, pushing, carrying up to 30 lbs.
- Bending, reaching, stooping, squatting, kneeling, crouching, twisting, and crawling for extended periods of time
- Ability to find issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch, or hearing
- Potential exposure to confined spaces and hazardous materials
- Wearing Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to: safety glasses, safety shoes, bump caps, clean room suits, respiratory devices, and adhering to prescribed safety rules and guidelines
