About the role

Amphenol Borisch Technologies is seeking a skilled professional to join our team in the guided missile and space vehicle manufacturing industry. We are a mid-sized company with 51-200 employees, headquartered in Grand Rapids, MI, and have been operating since 1994.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop manufacturing processes for precision aerospace components
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize production workflows
• Ensure compliance with industry quality standards and specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues in real-time
• Maintain detailed documentation of process improvements and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining and assembly processes
• Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality management systems
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Qualifications

• Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
• Project management experience preferred
