About the role

The Industrial Engineering Intern will gain hands-on experience to complement technical coursework. Interns will be exposed to the various Quality tools used in industry and will have the ability to develop dashboards and drive continuous improvement. Interns will also be exposed to hardware test techniques and will have an opportunity to contribute to system design. Interns will be assigned roles on projects consistent with their level of education and experience. The iA Intern Program runs from Tuesday, June 1, 2027 to Friday, August 6, 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage reliability tests conducted on various subsystems and systems in support of the test team
  • Support product performance analysis by compiling and interpreting data for investigations
  • Assist in creating and updating failure documentation for key systems

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative
  • High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities or situations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in common computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.; employer will not sponsor applicants for work visas

  • Experience or familiarity with Python or SQL

Pay

The estimated hourly rate range for this position is $18.00 to $26.00 per hour; a candidate’s hourly rate shall be determined on a range of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications and experience.
