Description Industrial Manager – Hickman’s Purpose and Scope/General Summary: MTQ USA has an opportunity for an experienced Industrial Manager to join the team in this newly created position in Arlington, AZ. As our Industrial Manager , you will focus on how to get work completed in the most efficient way, balancing many factors including time, number of workers needed, efficiency, available technology, actions required, and achieving a quality product with minimal rework, whilst ensuring workers' safety. The successful candidate will find ways to eliminate wastefulness in production processes to achieve targets set in production/processing roles, lead continuous improvement initiatives and devise ways to be more efficient Responsibilities Managing 4 shell egg, 1 breaker and 1 hard cook plants with around 250 employeesDeveloping solutions to operational issues to reach desired cost reduction and quality improvementsDeveloping, installing, and maintaining cost effective methods of manufacturingConducting maintenance and operational teams abreast to reach the best efficiency ratesDeveloping work measurements to optimize operationsCoaching production and maintenancemanagers to develop their potentialDeveloping different approaches with the team in order to have a healthy working environmentConducing the process aligned to the Compliance team and USDA team present in the sitesDeveloping a preventive maintenance plan for the grade and breaker eggs machines, refrigeration system, as well the other equipment involved in the processLeading continuous improvements and operational excellence teams in a high-volume manufacturing environmentReducing waste, rework, and cycle timesCollaborating with the engineering team to determine overall equipment effectiveness and associated improvement strategiesProvide training to management for implementation of new procedures, processes, services, and technologyManaging labor cost strategies across the Arizona siteAssisting in financial planning and cost analysisKeeping abreast of industry technology Other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor Degree inIndustrialEngineering, Mechanic Engineer, Electrical Engineer or equivalentDemonstratedindustrialengineering experience (ideally 5+ years) or equivalent industry experienceFull Professional oral and written communication skills in English required.Advanced MS Office skillsExperience in both, maintenance and production area will be a differentialAbility to respond calmly in difficult situations whilst maintaining a strong customer service focusLeadership and coach abilities to develop a strong teamExcellent attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated ability to work within a team environmentTakes other's perspectives into considerationMakes self fully available as required Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodationAs a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits: Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule; Base salary range of $110,000-$120,000 Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and Career Development: Our company is dedicated to supporting professional growth by offering continuous learning opportunities and a focus on career growth through various learning and development programs.
