Industrial Engineer Intern
About the role
The Industrial Engineer Intern will play a crucial role in developing a standardized system for process and quality control at Imerys' mill #2 and #3. The intern will also create work instructions for quality-related activities and learn about quality tools used to develop a control plan.
Responsibilities
- Develop a robust decision tree for mill #3 focusing on Quality, Productivity, and Equipment Preservation.
- Create work instructions for activities causing quality complaints.
- Learn about quality tools and apply them to develop a control plan.
- Translate learned knowledge into I3 Savings.
Requirements
Authorized to work in the U.S. Pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field. Strong oral and written communication skills. Problem solvers who enjoy collaborating to tackle challenges. Leaders with demonstrated ability to lead in various settings.
Qualifications
Strong academic performance, relevant coursework, and practical experience in industrial engineering or management. Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and communicate effectively. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
