Industrial Engineer

About the role

The Industrial Engineer is responsible for designing, improving, and maintaining efficient manufacturing processes and systems. They analyze current operations to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that enhance productivity and reduce costs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production processes to identify opportunities for improvement
• Design and implement new manufacturing processes and systems
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses to evaluate proposed changes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new systems
• Monitor process performance and make adjustments as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in industrial engineering
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment
• Ability to use statistical tools and software for data analysis
• Experience with project management tools and techniques

Skills

• Lean Six Sigma certification preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with ERP systems
