Responsibilities

• Identify bottlenecks and apply problem-solving methodologies to eliminate them, improving productivity, cycle time, and on-time delivery.
• Provide support for capacity planning and loading at the Newport Beach Fab, while proposing, evaluating, and applying real-time production dispatch algorithms that adapt to changes in volume, timing, and product mix.

Requirements

• B.S. Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering or Computer Science degree required
• 2 - 3 years of experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment required
• Master's degree preferred
• Experience in manufacturing and operations management techniques
• Strong understanding of statistics, data analysis and problem solving methodologies
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Science (scheduling/dispatching, TOC, Lean, Push/Pull system, inventory management, capacity planning, etc.)
• Experience in optimization, tool modeling and performance metrics
• Knowledge of PROMIS, APF and RTD
