Key Responsibilities

  • Apply industrial engineering methods such as capacity analysis, queuing theory, forecasting, and optimization to solve operational challenges.
  • Develop and maintain analytical models to support labor planning, demand forecasting, and operational decision-making.
  • Identify root causes of performance gaps and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Conduct on-site observational studies to evaluate processes, guest flow, and operational performance.
  • Collect and analyze time studies, throughput data, and other operational metrics.
  • Synthesize field insights with data analysis to drive practical, implementable solutions.
  • Support development of labor models, staffing strategies, and scheduling analytics.
  • Evaluate opportunities to improve labor utilization and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to workforce management tools and planning processes.
  • Extract and analyze data using tools such as SQL, Snowflake, and Python.
  • Build dashboards and reporting tools in Power BI and Excel to track KPIs and performance trends.
  • Support automation efforts to streamline workflows and improve data accuracy.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and operational leaders to implement process improvements.
  • Communicate insights and recommendations through clear presentations and data storytelling.
  • Support development of business cases for initiatives presented to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Management Science, Decision Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial engineering, operations analysis, or a related analytical role.
  • Experience conducting field studies and analyzing operational data.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into insights.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience working with large datasets.
  • Experience with data querying or programming tools such as SQL or Python.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
