About the role

Provide and present to our customer and Senior Leadership creative solutions in dedicated distribution. Work collaboratively with operations management to develop and execute strategic planning goals and provide consultation services to customers.

  • Review building layout, inventory slotting, and placement to continuously strive for space improvement.
  • Apply highly quantitative methods to warehouse operations with the intent of optimizing total delivered cost and maximizing service levels.
  • Analyze and improve current best practices and SOPs in the warehouse.
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and other best-practice continuous improvement tools.
  • Lead sourcing efforts for MHE, racking, and warehouse automation products.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree from a 4-year college or university (Industrial Engineering degree strongly preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience, preferably in a 3PL environment.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and facility layout and design.
  • Experience with various MHE, warehouse automation, and racking products.

Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients (internal and external), vendors, and Legacy personnel.
  • Working knowledge of financial statements.
  • Working knowledge of labor management and warehouse management systems.
  • Advanced-level skills in MS Excel.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

This position will report to the Regional Operations Manager, with a dotted line to the site General Manager.
