Industrial Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead, facilitate and participate in cross functional process improvements – using data to identify the opportunities.
• Lead and implement site lean activities such as 5S, standard work, visual management, pace to takt, value stream mapping, Kaizen, and 8D to drive out waste and improve productivity.
• Develop detailed plans, drive project performance, and assure timely completion of improvement projects.
• Lead and track continuous improvement activities through all functional areas, coordinate, and communicate with Leadership, Supply Chain, Customer Order Services, and Procurement.
• Facilitating process excellence for new/changing businesses or issue resolutions. Responsibilities include leading/hosting conference calls and cross-functional meetings, follow-up with Operations Leadership, Systems, Transportation, Inventory Control, Hazmat Team, and the warehouses.
• Collect data, create reports, analyze data using SAP Analytics, SAP, and various data sources.
• Maintain/support existing SharePoint sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent industrial engineering experience.
• Knowledge of LEAN principles.
• Project management experience.
• Ability to multi-task and effectively manage own work priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
