Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Review current production schedules and processes to find potential improvements to the planning process and production costs.
- Monitor product flow and implement changes to the processes to increase productivity and quality standards.
- Evaluate current manufacturing practices, manage production schedules, and improve efficiency and Quality.
- Enforce quality control to reduce waste.
- Aid the Business System Leaders (Statesville Leadership team) with projects as needed.
- Aid leaders in driving safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory metrics in their respective areas, and help establish measures of success.
- Participate in root cause, corrective action process as needed and ensure that business is conducted at the highest level of integrity.
- Support Human Resource initiatives across the business (engagement activities and career fairs).
- Adhere to company, federal, state, and local business requirements, enforcing compliance and demonstrate high integrity in all aspects of business.
- Maintain and build trusted relationships with peers, key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Requirements
- BS/BA Degree required in related field.
- 0-2 years experience, co-op, and/or internship.
- Experience in 6 Sigma Training / Experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Ability to navigate complex, matrixed organizations with multiple projects.
- Ability to travel as needed, up to 25%.
