"The future is circular“ Summary:To provide process improvements, set work standards, evaluate operational costs, validate capital expenditures, document operational procedures, determine the most economical process flows, and perform project management functions. Key Responsibilities:Establish operational methods and work standards using various work measurement techniquesIdentify, evaluate, and recommend changes or improvements in operational processes, procedures, and equipment, and to provide analysis to support these changesPerform cost studies, economic comparisons, and justification analysisOptimize use of floor space, materials, personnel, and equipmentSupport operations teams to improve efficiencies and resolve issuesPlay a key role in the implementation of new processes, equipment, and productsInitiate, plan, execute, and control strategic projects to accomplish strategic goalsMaintain site drawings used for site design improvements and operation flow mappingLead delivery of assigned initiatives under the global service center strategy, executing to the direction, priorities, and standards set by the Director, Service Centre ExcellenceOther tasks as assigned Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or manufacturing2-5 years practical experience working in automated manufacturing environmentsWorking knowledge of CAD software or comparable software dealing with layouts and process flow mappingExperience in a manufacturing/operations environmentStrong lean manufacturing experienceSubstantial experience in automated productionsSubstantial experience in supplier management/equipment design and compliance to specificationWorking knowledge of FMS Skills & KnowledgeProduct costing knowledge and ability to identify opportunities for cost reductionExperience with cross-functional collaboration and managementUnderstanding and interpretation of engineering drawingsUnderstanding of manufacturing processesKnowledge of quality and business systemsAbility to work in a diverse and dynamic environmentPlanning and prioritizing activitiesGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to gather, analyze, and present data effectivelySound ability to diagnose and solve problems What We Offer:Competitive benefits starting on the 1st of the month after hire.401(k) with immediate vesting and company match.Annual bonus and merit increase potential.A collaborative environment with leadership development opportunities.
