Industrial Engineer

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance existing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Identify and implement cost-saving measures and resource optimization strategies.
• Evaluate production schedules and processes to ensure compliance with safety policies and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain production standards and documentation for employees.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize facility layouts and staffing needs.
• Conduct regular inventory analyses and prepare purchase orders to support production needs.
• Monitor and report on process performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Participate in training and development initiatives to enhance team capabilities.
• Address safety concerns and implement necessary corrective actions.
• Support the Faith’s hiring referral and mentoring program.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field such as Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing methods.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Understanding of statistical analysis tools and techniques.
• Experience with project management software.

Pay

Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday-Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
