About the role
CJ Logistics America is seeking an Industrial Engineer to optimize a nationwide distribution network. The role involves using data and statistical tools to lead projects enhancing efficiency, eliminating waste, and strengthening cost position.
Responsibilities
- Use data and statistical tools to create continuous improvement and cost reduction plans.
- Perform root cause analysis to identify process barriers, inefficiencies, waste, or excess costs.
- Champion and lead improvement projects across the distribution network.
- Produce complex analyses and provide necessary insights to operations and the customer.
- Support new business initiatives and start-up facilities.
- Conduct data analysis on inventory, zoning, picklines, and capacity.
- Aid in facility layout and design, including modifications to existing space.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering is required.
- 1+ years of industrial engineering experience in a distribution environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
- Proficiency in SQL (data pulling and analytics) and AutoCAD.
- Skilled at conveying information in clear, understandable terms across all levels of the organization.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with a variety of stakeholders.
- An objective and resilient approach when presenting findings and insights.

Pay
The base salary for this role is a minimum of $65,000 per year, but actual base pay will depend on the successful candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
