Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains equipment to ensure safe operation
• Trains and assists in product changeovers
• Performs routine preventative/predictive maintenance
• Monitors and reacts to routine demand maintenance requirements
• Works closely with production to meet daily targets
• Troubleshoots equipment stoppages and reacts accordingly

Requirements

• Associates degree in a technology/industrial/manufacturing field preferred (or equivalent experience)
• 3-5 years practical hands-on experience in an industrial setting
• Working knowledge with Allen Bradley PLC's, Vision and other complex automation systems. Robotics is a plus
• Deep understanding of electrical systems, components and safety protocols
• Experience with high pressure hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated material handling, utilizing 480V, VFD's and PLC control logic troubleshooting
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Able to read, interpret blueprints on manufacturing equipment. Interpret manuals and industrial standards. (Electrical Code and OSHA regulations)
• Light machining and welding skills. Light fabrication skills

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts and a rotating schedule
• Must pass pre-employment physical, drug test and background check

Physical Requirements

• Regularly stands, walks, uses hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reaches with hands and arms
• Frequently stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls
• Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds
