Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and predictive electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations.
- Use test equipment to inspect electrical systems and machinery.
- Recommend equipment replacements to optimize machine uptime.
- Detect and diagnose electrical and instrumentation issues.
- Replace faulty components and fabricate new parts.
- Overhaul motors, motor control panels, and other electrical equipment.
- Implement installation procedures and troubleshoot problems.
- Assist with production and maintenance tasks as directed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
- Four (4) years of industrial experience.
- $37.92/hour wage.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of and adherence to the latest NEC and local building codes.
- Familiarity with and ability to use test equipment.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

About the location (Macon GA)
The Macon Plant, one of Armstrong's twenty North American facilities, employs over 400 people in the manufacture and shipment of acoustical ceiling tile. Located 85 miles south of Atlanta, the 33-acre facility covers 1.5 million square feet and produces a variety of commercial and residential ceiling products. Macon, known as the "Cherry Blossom Capital of the World," offers a blend of small-town charm and community growth.
