Industrial Electrician - Blue Rapids, KS
Troubleshooting and Repair
You will troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic equipment, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. You will perform routine and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and machinery internal and external to the plant.
Maintenance and Inspection
You will inspect equipment for potential downtime causes and install new equipment. You will record maintenance and repairs in a computerized maintenance management system (MP2 / SAP) and complete reports and work orders on time to keep accurate records.
Teamwork and Communication
You will collaborate with operations to identify and prioritize maintenance needs, adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, and actively participate in the safety program. You will assist mechanics or production operators as needed and assist Process Controls Engineers and Maintenance Technicians as needed.
Qualifications
- Electrical maintenance experience in a commercial, industrial or manufacturing environment
- Mechanical trouble shooting skills
- Experience reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
