About the role

Buck Company LLC is looking for a highly skilled Industrial Electrician to join their 2nd shift team in Quarryville, PA. This role requires a true controls and automation specialist to take ownership of their facility's complex electrical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical equipment to meet production goals.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose network and technical programs.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on PLC systems.
  • Effectively resolve production problems in a timely manner.
  • Diagnose cause of electrical malfunction or failure of operational equipment.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Perform safety and operational tests.
  • Estimate or quote maintenance repair costs.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical training or related coursework preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in maintenance or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and follow processes.
  • Possess good organizational and time management skills to maximize benefits of position.
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion.
  • Flexibility of schedule to work alternate shifts.
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with Buck Company safety policy.
  • Ability to meet qualitative and/or quantitative productivity requirements.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time in a non-climate controlled environment.
