Industrial Electrical Technician (Night Shift)

About the role

Perform preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance on various types of manufacturing machinery, including manual, semi-automatic, and automatic equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Dismantle, install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment
  • Read mechanical blueprints and hydraulic schematics
  • Repair and fabricate PLC programming
  • Safely operate a seated forklift
  • Program, set up, recover, and diagnose robots
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Accurately document department data and complete required paperwork
  • Practice safe shutdown and lockout/tagout procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Adhere to all safety policies
  • Steel, forging, or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical abilities and knowledge of hand tools
  • Good communication skills
  • Proven problem-solving skills
  • Technical knowledge
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to train others as needed
  • Work effectively as part of a team

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English
