About the role
Perform preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance on various types of manufacturing machinery, including manual, semi-automatic, and automatic equipment.
Responsibilities
- Dismantle, install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment
- Read mechanical blueprints and hydraulic schematics
- Repair and fabricate PLC programming
- Safely operate a seated forklift
- Program, set up, recover, and diagnose robots
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Accurately document department data and complete required paperwork
- Practice safe shutdown and lockout/tagout procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Adhere to all safety policies
- Steel, forging, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong mechanical abilities and knowledge of hand tools
- Good communication skills
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Technical knowledge
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to train others as needed
- Work effectively as part of a team
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English
