Industrial Electrical Service Technician – Indianapolis, IN PLC & Controls | Local Equipment Support + Field Service Tired of working on the same equipment every day—but don't want a job that keeps you on the road 100% of the time? BHS Corrugated North America is hiring an Industrial Electrical Service Technician in the Indianapolis area to support our advanced industrial digital printing equipment. You'll provide hands-on electrical and controls support for our equipment located in Indianapolis, while also traveling to customer sites as needed for installations, troubleshooting, service, and preventative maintenance. What You'll Do Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical and controls systemsProvide ongoing technical support for our Indianapolis-based equipmentDiagnose issues involving PLCs, drives, servos, and process controlsRead and troubleshoot from electrical schematicsPerform electrical calibrations and preventative maintenanceAssist with equipment installations and commissioningTravel to other customer facilities as service needs ariseWork directly with customers to diagnose and resolve equipment issuesDocument service work and technical findings What We're Looking For Strong industrial electrical troubleshooting experienceExperience with PLC controls and programmingKnowledge of VFDs/drives, servos, sensors, and process controlsAbility to read and understand electrical schematicsIndustrial maintenance, automation, controls, or field service experienceTechnical/trade school or associate degree preferredStrong problem-solving and customer communication skillsAbility and willingness to travel when needed Digital Print Experience Is NOT Required.
