$1,000 Sign-On Bonus! We value your expertise from day one. Earn $250 after your first month, another $250 after three months, and $500 after six months as a thank-you for joining our team and contributing to our success.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, service, troubleshoot, install, and repair electrical and electronic circuitry and related components associated with production equipment
  • Demonstrate good knowledge in the electronic diagnostics of PLCs, AC/DC drive systems, and various types of computer-operated control circuitry, including working with voltages up to 480VAC
  • Utilize electrical ladder diagrams, electronic circuitry diagrams, and software programs to modify, repair, or improve equipment functionality
  • Use a variety of tools such as hand/power tools, electrical/electronic test equipment, and calibration equipment
  • Perform repairs on a wide variety of equipment
  • Work closely with managers, other technicians, and peers to maintain electronic/electrical systems on new and specialized equipment
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
  • A State Electrical license, technical certificate, or a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience and/or training, or any equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Good knowledge in the electronic diagnostics of PLCs and AC/DC drive systems
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Demonstrated skills in leadership, organization, and communication
  • Ability to anticipate problems and implement appropriate preventative measures
  • Ability to develop new techniques for work processes
  • Ability to redirect focus to issues as they emerge and reprioritize based on current business conditions
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to multi-task
  • Organized with the ability to plan, prioritize, and follow through on projects assigned with minimal supervision
  • Ability to carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures and OSHA laws

Physical Requirements

  • Requires use of proper body mechanics with pushing, pulling, reaching, lifting, squatting, kneeling, and bending
  • Pushing/pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Requires fine motor hand and arm movement, manual dexterity, and coordination
  • Requires near visual acuity
  • Requires working around and operating departmental equipment
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department in the facility
  • Requires the ability to function in a professional manner under stressful circumstances

Work Environment

  • Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles
  • Occasionally exposed to hazardous materials
  • Regularly works near moving mechanical parts
